Health conference for Sampath Bank employees
Sampath Bank recently hosted a health conference to reiterate its efforts to ensure the well-being of its employees. With the theme "Vigor Free in You", the Sampath Health Conference took place in the presence of former General Manager Aravinda Perera, with the participation of more than 250 employees at Headquarters and several branches across the country.
Among the speakers who addressed the program were Dr. Priyankara Jayawardana, Sri Lanka National Hospital, Dr. Ajith Fernando, Obstetrician and Gynecologist Consultant, Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Dr. Kosala Muthukumarana, Physician Resident, National Anti-Meningitis Program And Dr. M Fernando, a professor at the University of Rajarata. Aruna Manatunga, Coach Mindfulness and Ms. Shehani Ariyaratne, dietitian and nutritionist, Nawaloka Hospital also conducted sessions at the conference.
This full-day program, covering areas such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, common gynecological problems, prevention and early detection of common cancers, behavior modification, meditation for life , The dietary needs for a healthy life.
In addition, the team also conducted Sampath activities such as dance, singing and instrumental performances, with the aim of highlighting the positive state of mind and healthy lifestyle that such activities can bring to life.

In parallel to the conference, Sampath Bank also launched its own health magazine called "Health & You".
This monthly magazine will be shared on the Sampath Bank intranet and keep the equipment properly informed on issues related to health and wellness and good practices.
In addition, the Bank continues to carry out other programs such as yoga, meditation, first aid, Counseling Services, etc., for staff.
